How are you optimizing your vBulletin forum for search engines?

Forum SEO isn't always as easy as it might seem when compared to SEO elsewhere. That's because a forum is widely user-contributed, and it's hard to get users to follow SEO practices without scaring them off.

But there are a few things you can do for SEO. Are any of you doing these things, and if so, what are you doing for your forum SEO?

hey Shawn im new here. I had furniture forum like 5 years ago based on bulletin (thjat was very good startup btw i even had some passive income on adv) and i used white hat seo with gray hat seo combination, i mean i tried social media advertising, its working but not as good as link building, thats why i stopped on this method. Btw from 2020 i think a lot thing have changed but i worked on promotion and optimization my friends forum and backlinks and all these seo things worked.
