What's been your worst hosting experience?

IONOS is hands down the worst. Constant downtime, relentless database errors, atrocious customer "support," and a user interface that's a nightmare to navigate. There's absolutely nothing positive to say about a company that can't even handle hosting something as straightforward as vBulletin.

I was with Las Vegas Communications Solutions back in the old days. They had a data center fire, and everything was lost. Instead of giving everyone an equal plan, they gave us one that doubled the cost.

I left them and went to Dreamhost and never looked back.

Dreamhost has always treated me very well.

Hostgator was pretty bad. Had low traffic and dragonbyte seo installed. Switched to namecheap & never looked back.

I remember using HostGator once. Back then, I felt confused trying to get around the backend. I didn't use them very long. I see they're still around.

I started with LunarPages 20 years ago and they were awesome until they sold to HostPapa, and then it wasn't awesome. I am no longer a HostPapa customer.
