Username or Real Name

I use my real name on my forums. I don't mind if people know who I am.

How about you all?

Do you use your real name or an alias on your forum?

If you use an alias, why is that? Why not use your real name?

Well this is a tricky one. If I had a forum that I was using as a part of a business then by all means I'd certainly use my name.
If it's just a discussion forum for news, debate and a bit of entertainment then I wouldn't use my name and as an Admin I encourage others not to as well.
I'm using Gaz here which in Australia is a shorter version of my first name Gary.

I'm already a "local celebrity" that is known by name so there is no reason for me not to use my real name
