    Restaurants vs. cooking at home

A friend of ours from Texas is visiting us in Seattle this week and tonight she wants to go to a ramen restaurant. Don't get me wrong - I LOVE good ramen, especially at this particular spot. But do you feel as ridiculous as I do having to pay $18 for a bowl of noodles it'd cost $2 to make?

I think the ramen you'll eat there will be much better than what you'd normally eat haha.

    But I get your point.

We have been trying to eat at home more but when we do go out, we go somewhere that's mom and pop and not a chain. Support local.

Holy crap, this place was amazing. I got hte Garlic Tonkotsu and it was easily the best meal I've had in ages. Very hearty and filling.
