What's been the best social media platform for you to promote your forum and get new membership?

X has been the one for me but there is also a large forum where we have had a number new members join.
The problem is that the vast majority of X members don't want to do much more than like the contributions of others.
I've had 150 new members join since the upgrade in late November which sounds great. Only 17 of them have made it to double digit contribution numbers and that remains the challenge.

I'd make an effort to befriend those 17 and convert them into loyal visit-everyday post-everyday members

Yes I have a small team on the forum that go out of their way to engage all new members

That's a great thing.

More forum owners should try to accomplish that. I think a small loyal community is way better than a large community full of lurkers.
